As an example:
2 pots of jam, plus a ceramic decanter and spoon which is the same size as an ordinary jampot - guess how much? - 20 quid!

example 2 "coffee lovers hamper"
a packet of ordinary clipper far trade coffee, a packet of ratafia biscuits, 2 mugs and an individual cafitiere. How much? 34.99!!!! what what what???

Have looked at buying one as a gift but you are right they are expensive for what you get so if I did decide to get one I would make it myself, that way you get what you want and you would defo save money. I was in morrisons that other day they are already selling selection boxes and chocolate santas!
