Can anyone suggest a places to go for good eating / drinking for a night out in Sao Paulo city centre?

Hopefully you will get some suggestions, but just in case..

When I was there the hotel recommended places, and hired out drivers as it was safer.  However, if you like beef, whatever else you do, a good Churascacia (dodgy spelling) - Brasilian barbeque, is wonderful.  Have it with a caparina (cocktail with rum and lime) and have a great time
