The document was executed at the demand of the lords and contains 63 articles, most of them a list of rights that chiefly benefited the land-owning nobility and the church. It was only much later that the rights were extended to the citizens. Interestingly, the rights of women were not well guarded... no widow of a lord could remarry without consent of the barons, nor could any woman bring charges against anyone for a murder except her own husband. Anyone owing money to a Jew at the time of debtors death, generally didn't have to repay the debt from the estate.. Check the contents here:
