Hello - our cat Ted has taken to eating the dog's Butcher's Tripe (chicken in jelly) - is this bad for him? I have to say he's certainly looking well on it (v v shiny coat and good amount of energy for a 15 year old)- he now prefers it to his own food. Cheers

Dog food does not contain taurine which cats needs in their diet, but to be honest, if he is fifteen and looking healthy, I wouldn't worry too much. Keep an eye on him though because you never know how it affects them internally. Try to get him to eat cat food if you can, but let him have the occasional treat of butchers.
