I am a long-standing curry lover, particularly very very hot ones, vindaloo and above.  There is a restaurant in Wimbledon which does a good Bangalore Chicken Phall, and I have a local delivery which sometimes hits the spot - but can anyone recommend a curry house around Croydon which has served a curry hot enough to stop them in their tracks ? I mean, seriously hot.

I don't know if the following link helps?  http://www.london-eating.co.uk/cuisines/indian.asp

When you order your next curry, why not just ask them to add extra chilli powder on your vindaloo?

Thanks Starscream, but I have been a curry-eater for many years - there is lots more to it than chilli powder - if you add chilli powder to a vindaloo, it tastes like a vindaloo that's had chilli powder added to it, it tastes red and chilli powderish.  I am after the art not the obvious.
