I'm back!

Hey guys!

I'm back from my gorgeous holiday in Spain!
Got back about 2.45 this afternoon and although the cats seemed very wary of us when we first came in, they have now forgiven us and Smokie wont leave me alone!

Sammy and Leo havent yet shown their faces, and I wont relax until they do!

I cant see my pooches til I get in from work Monday though which I'm not too happy about!!

Wont be using the kennels we put them in again though!

I'd hate not being to get my pets back right away!

I'm househunting at the moment to get a decent place so I can rescue a cat or two as sooo miss having more pets.

I'd love a dog but it's not fair as I work for too long in the day and they deserve more attention so looking at rescuing some older cats who are happy to have the place to themselves during the day :)

Hey jenna!

Well 5 of my lot seem to love me again which is good, but still waiting for the other 2 to show their faces!

Its not only me being impatient, but they closed at 1pm today, and are closed all tomorrow, meaning we have to pay for another 2, maybe 3 days! And also means that my fella will have to pick them up on his own, which I really dont want as they are very tricky in the car!

Along with that, when I phoned they asked if the dogs had any special diets, and I said Cleo was on puppy food so they said to take a long a back of food for her, which we did!
Only when we were there, she said that they would both be fed on the food we took! I would have gone to buy a bag of Ashkes food, but didnt have time.

Grrrrrr!!

My Sammy & Leo have not yet shown their faces. :-(

Is it unusual for cats to get funny and do a disapearing act like this?

They are both very homely cats, and although they both do go out every so often, Leo is such a sleepy boy, he is normally home asleep curled up somewhere :-(

Hi wiggal! So pleased you had a lovely holiday. Hope yr wee pets have returned now. Fingers crossed for their safe return. :o)

What a bummer about the kennels!!!! Thats not on - hopefully by now yur wee doggies will be back with you, no doubt a huge homecoming!!. Let us know about the wee cats. :o) xxxxx

Hey Alfie!

It really was a lovely holiday!

Leo returned last night, wailing and very hungry, but Sammy has not yet come home :-(

Cleo and Ashke came home from kennels yesterday, and they did seem very happy to see me when I got in from work! Cleo seems to have grown some extra springs in her legs and was bouncing all over!

Hey!

Sammy decided to finally show her face about 5 minutes after I got in from work this evening :)

So happy! She was running straight for the food bowl but I picked her up for s huge cuddle before she got there, and got a very annoyed look!

They have all had some pork this evening, and there is a bag of prawns defrosting in the fridge for them to have as a treat tommorrow!

Ps - Pup managed to bounce off the closed patio door this morning!!! He thought it was open and went to go through it at the speed of light (he only has this one speed, nothing slower!!!). Ho hum ....... anyway, there appears to be no damage to pup - he has a very hard head!!!! He's still bouncing around like a good'un!!!

Im off tomorrow to get some stickers for the doors .... so it doesn't happen again!!!! (hopefully!!!) xx
