Well, you are probably looking at an average of about 4 times joint income (this will vary depending on which lender you choose) which gives a figure of �134,000.

You will also need a deposit of around 10%, if not more.

So you should be looking at properties with a purchase price of around the �150K mark (or higher if you can knock them down).
