If he's still cross about the pumpkin, then I think you will struggle with squeezing him into anything pink!!! LOL - put the photos' on Facebook though - might be worth a laugh!!

Good Luck!!
I imagine the 'pink' idea is to get young childen away from the rather ghoulish americanised take on halloween which can be rather scary. Why not go down the American route of dressing up and do a Pink Panther outfit or something similar?
well off the top of my head-

red fake blood and white doctors jacket or mummy bandages looks pink

what about a disected human body, you know those plastic casts and pictures in books where they show the insides of the body stripped away they have a 'muscles of the body' one and a 'organs of the body' one. If your get some plain old clothes in pink or red and then paint on or glue pictures of the organs on his top, that might look cool just copy the pictures you can print online. I suppose it would be a new take on the 'skelington' one's if you remember those. The organs would be mainly pink, so youve got a man-ly take on pink there, oh and it would be educational, 'here are my lungs' 'heres my stomach' 'and there's the mars bar inside my stomach' lol
wrap him in some long pink card, write something at the end and he would be a stick of rock.
Places like Toys R Us sell skeleton outfits. You could always paint the white bones in day-glo pink, yet still have the black background on the costume, which might make your son feel less "girly".

poor kids... they will all turn into big girls...

bring on a frankenstein 'green' halloween...
How annoying - wish schools didnt do fancy dress days, especially difficult ones! Bet loads of other parents feel the same - why not get a group of like minded parents together and go complain to the head!
