Is it possible for someone that doesn't have access to a mobile phone to send SMS text messages from a PC to another person's mobile?

I've tried O2's website, but you need to own a mobile and if you click on the "I do not own a mobile" option, they try and sell you one!

Tried it, easy enough to use, but it won't send messages to 076- prefix mobile numbers.

Is there a site that will?

Haven't heard of 18866 before but have to register and wait for a customer number so will give it a go once I get that back from them.
