thank you all for your encouragment and positivity. I too, had resigned myself to the fact that I will always be big. My mum and dad always have been and my brother struggles to keep trim.
There is no way I want my children to follow in my footsteps and they all eat healthily by choice, thank goodness.
I just feel that I am not a very good role model and would love to take them swimming etc. (something my hubby does instead!)
Plus, both my parents have developed diabetes in the last few years - it's like looking into a crystal ball!
I adore fresh fruit and veg, fish and pulses. I rarely eat red meat and wouldn't dream of eating anything like a pie or a sausage!
I'll have a healthy tea and then ruin it by eating tons of chocolate! Oh, and I love white crusty bread, with real butter! AAAArgh!
