Can anyone recommend a make / model of cycle rack for a hatchback? Looking for one that fits on a tow bar and the bike are supported on the base. They seem to vary in price and style. Is it worthwhile spending the extra money? Ideally looking for one that is easy to get on and off and is not too cumbersome in case the girlfriend wants to use it when I am not around.

Depends which make of car you have, some bike racks can only be bought from your car makers dealership.

You might get lucky and be able to get one in Halfords.
