A beautiful sunshine Saturday - but tinged with a little sadness.

Our dear contributor Newsdesk, newly-appointed as AB Moderator, not only failed in his prestigious appointment, but unfortunately fell out of favour and disappeared completely from these chronicles.

The weather may change, but the temperament remains. Hopefuly Newsdesk took a harp with him to his new horizons; if not, perhaps his fire extinguisher will come in handy.
