Why do women complain

You don't hear men complaining women have left the seat down. It's no more onerous for a woman to lower the seat before use than it is for a man to raise it.

unlucky , but most womens arses are big enough that they at least wont fall down the toilet

I didn't start this to be disrespectful to women. I always put the seat and lid down. Sorry, taichiperson, you'll have a surprise if you don't look!

I've given up. I am the only bloke in a house with currently, two, but at one time three, females, I find it simpler to sit down regardless of what I have gone in to do.

i was just going to say that actually lol id much rather a guy left the seat up than dribbled over it

Women need the toilet seat down for both uses of the toilet... however, men only need it for the second function.... and since they always have trouble with their *aim* (as described above quite eloquently with, "the women can wipe it, can't they?") , it makes sense for them to lift the seat to avoid excessive cleaning afterwards and then kindly return it to its previous position... hardly hard work eh ? Any man who refuses to do so is, in my opinion, a lazy b-s-g... and should be flushed down said toilet pan forthwith.
