Is there going to be a bargain "will making month" this year?
I'm sure I have seen advertising the past for a "Will Month" where various solicitors draw up wills for half their usual price, maybe for a charity donation? My new year's resolution is to get one done.
Does anyone have any information? Thanks.

However if you wish to make a will relatively cheaply then I would suggest buying a kit to help you write your own will. These can be bought at larger branches of stationers like WH Smiths and also Post Offices. They are pretty user friendly.
If you want to have someone with legal knowledge look over what you've drawn up then take it to either a Solicitor for review. (Yes this will cost but be cheaper than them doing all of the work) or your local Citizens Advice Bureau. If you think you would need guidance while completing the form then I'd suggest the CAB again.
If your affairs are reasonably straight forward, it is cheaper and quicker to use a specialist online site to draw up a will. It can all be done online for under 50 (I think) for 2 wills for a husband and wife.
Try tenminutewill.co.uk whom I used, and there are others as well. I think Barclays do an online will service.
