Picture messages from PC to phone?

I wonder if anyone can assist? I can send a picture from my mobile phone to my email address, which works perfectly. However, I can't seem to find a way to send a picture (attachment) from my email address to my mobile phone. I know that I could use bluetooth but I would hope to be able to send pictures to other peoples phones remotely. I'm sure there must be a way.
I use T-Mobile

you should be able to send photos etc to other phones via MMS ( multi media service)
