of the unscientific polls that are run on this site?
Take the current question about whether men or women are more fuel efficient in their driving habits.
It is far more likely people (biggots?) will decide whether they want to support men or women drivers (if it makes a difference) than actually considering the question. To get a definitive answer on this would require some actual observation of a number of drivers and their habits which most people are not in the position to do.
