I was duly signalling and a huge Army lorry - (with troops) came along -they bloody followed my signals then had to try and turn the truck on a single car road.
My faith in our troops was restored -have to say they were laughing as much as me.

I was stopped by a couple of Burnley fans a couple of seasons ago near the Albion ground who asked where the nearest pub was.
I purposely directed them towards Handsworth as revenge for once been chased at Burnley years earlier.
Anybody who knows Handsworth knows they wouldn't have survived!
I also had to suffer a gobby Wolves supporting delivery driver once, his truck was covered in flags and stickers etc, he was going on about how great they were and how rubbish we were...Anyway he asked me the best way to his next stop so I sent him off in the direction of a 14 foot high railway bridge in his 16 foot truck!!
Still brings a smile to my face ;-)
