Scanner lrequired for old photo's

Any recommendations for a (cheapish) scanner that I could get. I would be mainly scanning old photographs to upload onto Facebook to embarrass my friends and also putting together a collage for my mum of all the hideous clothes she made us wearing during the 70's. Was brown the only colour avaiable?????

In my opinion, scanners all do pretty much the same thing. Just compare prices.

However, if you have limited desk space you might want to think about the size. A lot of scanners have a scanning area larger than A4, which there is no need for.

On the other hand you could get a combined scanner and printer so you've got one gadget instead of two.

I have always used Cannon scanners - currently the CanoScan LiDE 600F sells for around �129, but Amazon are offering it at �89.
