Charity Commission Declarations

If a registered charity has submitted records to the charity commission is it possible they won't appear on the CC website. I'm interested in the financial dealings of a particular charity local to me and the CC website states that accounts are outstanding from 2004 onwards. Where else could I look to find the financial information as the trustees (who aren't named on the CC website) are unhelpful and the charity correspondent is no longer at the address given on the site. I was sure it was all innocent but I'm beginning to wonder now. Thanks for any help you can give.

Perhaps the charity has folded and no one has informed the charity commission especsialy if the trustees have moved.

The chrity commission can remove the charity from the register for failure to submit an annual report (section 3(4) of the charities act 1993 as amended by the charities act 2006 within four months of a reminder.

the charitycommission is nothing but a joke
a complete joke, they get wages for absolutely nothing
it is easy to set up a charity but get anyone from the commission to act on a charity STEALING monies is all but impossible

cassa, the charity is very much still active. The auditor who also does the books for the sports club I'm treasurer for is unable to get a copy of the charity's accounts! He suggested I approach the trustees, which I did but still no joy. It's really starting to bother me now as my club is indirectly involved (innocently) but may become guilty by association if we're not careful.
