Actually no wonkon-wonk.

Apart from the fact that he left specific instructions that none of his children were to be advised of his death until after his cremation, I wouldn;t have gone to pay my prspects, because I didn't have any.

He was as arrogant in death as he was in life, I am glad none of my children or my wife ever met him.
my m8's dad mike because he is so intelligent and he is a very logical and gives good advise to people in a non-patranising way. hes very successful because of this and he doesn't like to admit to it (modesty)
i think you read my post wrong andy
i said that's why i never went to my fathers funeral
I would say my mum has been the most influential person in my life............but not for the usual reasons. She was so bad at being a mum to seven of us that it made me determined to be the best mum to my kids that I possibly could, and to give my kids all the love I never had from her when I was growing up.Her lack of love and care has also made me into a stronger, more streetwise person than I would have been.
My first wife.

Beautiful until her last breath.

The most intelligent and humorous lady ever to walk God's Earth.

Kindness personified.

And she put up with my arrogance with nowt more than a smile and a hug.

She kept me alive during my darkest hour and for a bird, she could actually drive quite well.

I miss her every single minute of the day but I know that she is in Heaven stuffing her little fat face with scones which she sadly rarely ate on this world because she was always (much to my irritation) watching her figure.

She made me the good man I am today. The bad bits were there before I met her.
Havent got any influential persons in my life, i sadly lost my dad at the age of 16,and my mum is still living, but still struggle with some emotions with her, some abers are really lucky that they has a good bond with at least one of there parents!!!
My son. I lived in a abusive relationship for nearly 20years then I had my son 2 years ago.
I realised I couldn't carry on and so I looked at him and left for mine and his sake.
Nearly 2 years on I still look at my son and he keeps me strong. x

Wardy -what a lovely eulogy x

puddi -its tough losing a parent -I thankfully have both of mine -but my children only have me -poor souls.Try my best though -cos I dont want thenm to spend the rest of their young lives in misery so I am trying to be pro-active in the face of abject adversity.(although I ache inside for the loss I know they will feel at those special moments)

lil -you are a strong woman -keep going and you'll get there x
You're right wonkon-wonk, I did read it incorrrectly - apologies.
