Why do italians eat lasanga on christmas day/easter sunday and eat ONLY fish on christmas eve/good friday??
I dont have a problem with it, but my girlfriend is italian and says its tradition but they must be a reason behind it as i dont seethe point??!!

There's no specific mention of lasagne, but I'm sure that different regions of Italy have their own specialities.
Maybe your girlfriend doesn't see the point of eating turkey (or more traditionally goose) on Christmas Day? Or rich fruit cake or mince pies!
