Yep, were at the St Albans Beer Festival.

Train all the way from here, walk up the long road, follow the students and beardies to the Civic Hall.

Well I don't think I've ever found it so hard to walk back to a railway station, if that's any indicator.

There were lots and lots and lots of men there, and they were probably mostly single.

But they were probably single beacuse they were beer swilling beardies.

But yes, it was fun. And St Albans is a nice town (I've been before).

ANd only an hour and a half from here, with no change.

You're right, pasta. You do feel as though you've been inflated. And to be honest, proper beer is hardly my thing.

But hey, at a loose end on a Friday, fun event just a short rail trip away ... tah daah !!
