stress causing gastric problems
my husband is suffering from bouts of vomitting/reflux, it can happen at the start of a meal or the end or even just a couple of bites of toast. there is no pattern to it, it can happen for several days then he will be fine for three/four weeks, or it will happen 2/3 week for several weeks. 2 doctors have put it down to stress, he had anervous breakdown 3yrs ago. has been prescribed cimetidine tabs which work sometimes, but he really wants to get off medication and sort it out himself (he has successfully managed to stop taking prozac)
anybody experienced similar to this, any ideas or alternative treatments?

It makes you feel a lot better. There are loads of books on it. It also helps to find out what foods produce alkaline and which acid, it's not necessarily what you would think. Try and have a lot more alkaline producing foods every day than acid. This really helps. Also, give up caffeine and alcohol, boring, but it works.
