I have finally decided to have my shoulder length hair cut shorter so it is easier to manage.Has anyone got any ideas/links to pictures of short but feminine hairstyles that don't take too long to style? I am 40 by the way if that makes a difference :-) I don't want old fashioned hairstyles and no perms etc.!!!!
Thanks Jack, the first one is too long, the second one is cute but maybe a little too short,I quite like the third one and it looks easy to maintain.I just grew out the VB bob,the fourth is a bit too fussy and the last one is horrible.lol. I hate trying to choose a new style :-(
Choose your stylist carefully.....never mind the price or fame.....look at styles on people where you live and ask them who their stylist is, for recommendations.
Top stylists from Tony & Guy (who run their own businesses) are best as they have specialist training from the academy, under contract.
Actually I find shoulder length hair easier to manage than short hair. When I had short hair I would wake up every morning to find it sticking up in all directions (none of them good!). The easiest style to manage I have ever had has been a plain old bob.
The thing with my hair is that it is very coarse(always has been) and frizzy so to get it looking half decent I have to use straightening irons every day, washing and styling it takes me more than an hour each time and with my medical condition this is getting too much for me to cope with now. With short hair I could wash it daily if necessary and 10 minutes with a hairdryer should be enough to style it.
