A thread not for the fragile

I have had another dilema.
Basically we have 3 vending machines out side. 2 of them sell cold drinks such as coke, zero, nestle lemon , tins of cold nescafe coffee and some wierd bottles of chinese stuff which looks very similar to urine. The other vending machine has nuts, pretsles and some stick crisps.
Well this is the dilema....
I have been up on the power station since around 5pm dreaming of some stick crisps. The thought of them has been make me salivate and lick my lips. I was fantasising about putting them in my mouth, feeling there rough texture with my tongue. Then the taste explosion of salt which is followed by that well familiar crunch. mmmmmmm
But as it happens the snack machine wasnt working. So I am sat here with just a tin of lemon tea and thats it.
What should I do? Stop at a 7/11 on the way hope to buy some to satisfy my thirst for these stick crisps or what?
Me so hungry :(
Please help me

ive always been bought up in a British way. Hong Kong loves the western culture and loves to keep it that way even though China had taken over. The Hong Kongers dont want anything to be changed.
If you went to Hong Kong you will find it very similar to here, just full of Chinese people lol.
but being bought up here, i do and think everything in a British way. only mum tells me when its .. chinese new year, mid august fest, and why we eat certain type of food at a particular time.... u know that stcky rice wrapped in bananna leaves or summut with bits of meat etc in it.
or the peanuts stuff? im confused. i just dont get it! i think i still to English... much simpler... someimes i do think im actually English... unfortunatly im not lol. i should be ashamed of meself, im chinese, i cant read, nor write lol
so do u think its easier to learn mandrine if u can speak cantonese? alot of cantonese speakers can speak it (just) i think they learnt it from watching and listening to chinese (mandrin)films and songs.
my mum can speak abit, she says its not perfect she guesses half the time lol her dads from Shanghi (how ever u spell it)

i would say i disagree with 'take over', as hongkong belongs to china from history, but i do aware we grown up under different education, so we believe what we have learnt:) so thats why me and my taiwan friends very rare talk about history and politics...but i do understand lots people dont want to change.
i wont blame you for not speaking cantonese, few of my chinese friends who got merried here, all struggling to teach thier babe chinese, but there no language environment here... have u heard of that nickname, BBC?-british born chinese :P
i love that sticky rice stuff, but hard to buy, i dont know how to make either.i never remember those traditional festivals dates either, usually my family or friends remind me by phone, but when there is no family around, there is no much sense for me to celebrate them, only cause homesick maybe...
