Which country has the best national anthem {don`t get all patriotic and say God save the Queen} and why do they call it anthem why not just song?

The Spanish national anthem is quiet a good song.

The Welsh anthem is hard to beat, so is the French. God Save the Queen has been adopted as the 'English' anthem and quite frankly they're welcome to it... an anthem to slit your wrists to.. As you might have guessed I am a Scot and no, I am not a great fan of 'Flower of Scotland' I much prefer 'Scotland the Brave' and will be voting for that one when we get independence.

I think that the most beautiful anthem I have heard is the Guatemalan anthem: �Guatemala feliz! ; followed by the Marseillaise, and the Soviet/russian anthem.
