Radio 1's "Comedy" Dave

Is the Comedy part of comedy Dave supposed to be ironic, as i have been listening to Chris Moyles for a few years now, and find dave to be as funny as a funeral.

John I agree, I switched a while ago. Couldn't take the inane banter.  As you don't know my workplace I can quite happily say that the staffroom has more entertaining and humerous anecdotes that that lot have put together , and that's saying something. Grr, have switched to local radio.  Now that really IS pants...

I still like the show and personally Dave's word-perfect rendition of the Love Boat theme tune had me in hysterics.

Switch to the nation's favourite!  Much better music (though I'd prefer no jazz ;o), much less gimmicks and the DJs are at least seasoned pros who know their place.

cannot abide Fat Moyles or his gang.  He's just too much like Chris Evans - laughs at others, but ain't too keen on laughing at himself.  I just don't get him.  Radio 2 in our house every time.

Chris: "I had 10 pints last night"                                   

Dave: " I Had 11"

Chris: " I Feel rubbish"

Dave: " I Feel Rubbisher"

Did you hear him go on about his bloody broken boiler over the winter?  What does he get paid for this tosh?  And another thing, why have his ratings gone through the roof?  Great question john. !

jk an joel are better. they used to do the breakfast show on key 103 an that was always loads of fun. made the journey to work actually bearable!

so pleased its not just me that thinks Moyles and his cronies are not funny. Agree also that he dishes out rudeness and insults but hates it when he gets it back. Evans mk 2 definitely
