I keep slapping on the vaseline, but that's protective rather than moisturising.

What do other ABer's recommend?
Keep it clean.... (as if.)

Carmex, Carmex, Carmex - the one in the little tub if possible as opposed to the stick. I can't praise it enough, you can actually feel it working it's tingly magic and your lips are lovely and soft and protected :-)

E45
Neutrogena
Oilatum
These are all good for hydrating, keep to the lips and don't use vaseline, it's too greasy.
Lip Service by Lush. It's got no petroleum jelly in it (your lips get used to petroleum jelly and stop absorbing it), instead it's lovely natural beeswax and shea butter.
I've been using it for years, every autumn and winter, and my lips never have any trouble.
