What a load of twaddle! It is sixty-three days usually, but can be anything from 59 - 65 days. Both cats and dogs are pregnant for nine weeks.

My shih tzu had pups in April and it was 9 weeks to the day!!!

If you have a pregnant dog then you are in for a roller coaster ride. I still have not recovered even though the pups have long since found excellent homes and their Mum has forgotten them.
