Trouble in removing old Mcafee aol firewall suite
I wonder if anyone could help me please.
I have a fairly old pc Millenium Windows 2000 edition which normally presents few problems, however, I cannot remove the current edition of McAfee firewall provided by AOL from the drop down menu under instal/uninstal programs contained in the Control Panel.
The message "Could not open INSTALL.LOG file" constantly appears.
I need to remove it to replace it with the more current security suite provided by AOL.
They supply me with removal tools to perform this procedure but it's no good for my system operating on the optimum windows OS for millenium 2000E.
I've had no problem in the past removing this feature, but have recently installed other applications ie XoftSpySE and the Regcure supplied with this package.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
