I think my dog has just eaten 50mg of Zydol (tramadol hydrochloride).
She is a year old and roughly the size of a small spaniel.

How worried should I be, is there anything I can do to help her?

Unless there's a vet on here I don't suppose anyone will know, give your vet a ring asap.

Thank you, it was all fine in the end. we think she just chewed an empty packet up!
That's good, because tramadol is quite a strong painkiller for humans and could possibly be fatal in a small dog. For heavens' sake, keep your drugs out of reach of your dog and if she should ever get hold of any, get her straight to the vet!!
