driving without due care and attention
how bad does this offence have to be for the police to take it to court,surely every motorist who has a collision would have to of been driving without due care?every minor car bump in a car park should go to court for due care?if i clip a parked cars mirror would the police be able to take me to court for driving without due care?

So the answer to almost all of the questions you pose is �yes�, those examples do show that careless driving took place.
However, as with all offences the police firstly have to take an interest in the incident (and I would suggest that they would not do so in many of them unless they happened to be present by coincidence) and secondly have been able to gather enough evidence to prove the offence.

new judge i clipped a wing mirror about 2 weeks ago,there was no damage but i still reported it to the police for some reason giving them my details and the other vehicles details(oh the other vehicle was a parked car)would this be enough evidence for the police 2 take it to court,no 1 else reported the incident to the police do you think the case will go any further?thanks.
