Just wondered if someone could clarify whether Mercedes has actually contracted HiV from Mal. I saw it ended with her hitting him saying he'd given her AIDS, but was she just emotional thinking worse case scenario or had she actually been told she was HiV positive ? I thought it took weeks for blood test results to come back and didn't see her going to the doctors. It could be that I missed the essential part, or it could just be soap land !

No she doesn't really know for sure.

Kris told her that Mal was positive & that she needed to speak to him.

She confessed to Kris that they hadn't used any protection, hence this is why she thinks she has it but no she hasn't been tested yet. I'm sure she'll be negative though because she's such a main character.

Well she could still be a main character even if she is positive. It is not the death threat it used to be and just think of the new image abstinence might give her!! ;o)

I haven't really watched Hollyoaks properly now for about a month and am out of touch. My Sundays have been occupied with other things and I keep forgetting it is on at 6.30pm :o(

It doesn't look like she's leaving any time soon if this is anything to go by. The McQueens are going to be held hostage by Nutter Niall and one of the sisters dies - please let it be Michaela or Carmel!

see I was first told it was jon paul but in mag it says one of the sisters, I reckon it will be the half cast girl and then jaqui will take care of the baby
