No passport pages left for stamps
I'm thinking of taking (another) extended trip where i anticipate crossing numerous land borders. I don't have many pages left in my passport due to pesky full-page visa's and extensions etc.
what would happen if i ran out of pages in my passport for the authorities to stamp mid trip?

Depending on the country involved, you might be invited into an office and invited to donate the contents of your wallet to secure entry, even if you have a valid visa.
The UK Passport authorites are very helpful and will allow two passports to be held in certain circumstances. You could apply for a second passport and use it where the country of entry does not require a visa, thereby maximising the limited space in the first passport.
You might also be able to use the second passport for stamps where the visa is in the first passport. However, that is a country by country issue and you should check with the issuing Embassy.
