I got a new job a couple of months a go so it's a bit old news now but I'm still really enjoying it although it'sn as busy as hell at the moment. Now I'm spending most of my time flat hunting as I need to be out by end of october and it's really not going too well... i'm reserving the panic until about 31/10/08 though!

Hi Dot - hope you're feeling better soon. I used to live north of Blackburn - the Ribble Valley is a lovely place, if wet most of the time!
I am very busy with the full time job and the part time job but at least I have a roof over my head and am just about solvent so I'm fortunate there. Anyway - being busy means I don't get bored - I only wish it meant that all this activity keeps me slim but unfortnately not (probably the donuts that do for me!). So nothing special to celebrate but just being positive!

I think I mentioned it before but my 25 year old son's girlfriend is 41. I haven't met her yet and I'm not sure how I will deal with that. Still, could be worse I suppose

Yep! I collect my new car next sunday and then I'm off to Zante for a week so I'm starting to pack today for that.
It's fantastic cos in one year I've totally turned my life around and by myself too as I'm a single parent x

no at least i dont think so, shes quite sensible in that department, in fact shes not keen on babies full stop as her friends sister asked her to babysit a few weeks ago and she came back saying she hates babies. to my knowlege shes never had a boyfriend but she wants me to meet this one tommorow
