OK weather awful in the south it is p1ddling down, lets think of nice things that fill us with glee, anything that makes you happy.Keep it clean yeah ?

Like sugar on my porridge, and my vegies have to be soft, dont like the crunchy kind you get in restaurants, guess I must be an oldie!

I'm down south and it's piddling down and dark. Guess it's an afternoon with the old black & white films (Brief Encounter probably) and something to snack on. I like salty things too and still add far too much to my food. (I love salt on porridge)

Lovely here, watching footie with windows and doors open, having plain salted crisps with cheese and onion dip mmmm!

what makes me happy is when my 2 girls smile ahug from my fella and a big lamb sunday lunch and all other problems go away

As a scotswoman I have to declare an interest in this porridge debate. The old scots way to make (and eat) porridge is the best. Made from meal (not porridge oats) with water and salt. Then you have a bowl of cooked porridge ( spinkled with a wee bit more salt) and a seperate bowl of creamy cold milk. Take spoonful of piping hot porridge then dunk the spoon in the cold milk!! Fantastic!!!
