a metal clip has come off my clutch adjuster so the pedal is slack can anyone tell me were it goes.... marie

It goes behind the stop plate, to the back of the clutch pedal, it is ratchet adjusted, and there should be an R shaped wire spring clip holding it in place, you will find it difficult to relocate this, unless you are double jonted, but the average mechanic will fit it in two mins, provided you have R clip.
