hanging the loo roll

Just had the wierdest row with my sister in law.
The loo roll holder was out of paper and (even though I didn't use it) I hung another roll up.
She then asked me why I had put it up 'back to front'.
WTF?
It seems she hangs the paper so that it falls away from the wall and I'd hung it so it fell next to the wall. Never crossed my mind there was a right or wrong way to hang it. My brother just shrugged when I asked him about it and said just humour her
Anyone else with weoird ideas like this?

Definitely should hang from the front.I have been known to change it to this way in other people's houses on many occasions :-)

If anyone came to my house and changed my toilet roll from the back (where it should be) to the front, they wouldn't be invited again!!

... we "front hangers" have already triumphed in this thread (see Dabees' post on the previous page).

All that the "back hangers" can do now is concede defeat, and go and turn your loo rolls around.

I can't believe that this has caused so much controversy, and honestly, I only thought I'd get a couple of replies..
Just goes to show it's a crazy world we live in.
And an apology to those that have answered on a similar thread to this one before ~ guess I missed it.last time round.
