Has anybody used Eco-balls instead of washing powder in their washing machine.
Do they work? Are they as good as the adverts would have us believe?

No but I've used the rubber balls in the tumble drier ... don't bother. Better to put a wet flannel in with the drying .. this seems to dry towels etc. softer, must be something to do with humidity ...
I found them both rubbish,
They are utter rubbish, as are the dryer balls, I've tried them both, waste of space!!
I've heard that the eco balls do wash your clothes but they don't remove any smells or make it smell nice so they don't ever smell fresh

I agree about the tumble drier balls though, don't bother with them
I have used the eco bals and find them okay - my husband has allergies so we can only use those or surcare washing powder which has no perfume anyway, so we are used to not having any fragrance. They do clean your clothes and remove odours, they just dont have the fragrance added.
I bought them at the Ideal Home a few years ago, didnt think they got the washing clean, however I kept them because they came with refills and I only use them as a stopgap when I have run out of powder.
would not buy again.
