Cramping but no period?
8 Answers
Normally, my periods are regular as clockwork. However, I was due last wed1st oct but there is still nothing! I have been having cramping as if it was about to start, but it hasnt? Any ideas why this could be? I am 20 years old.

is it possible for you to be pregnant?
have you been stressing over anything?
stress can cause late periods, its quite common
do you use any contreception? ie - the depo injection? tho i doubt you do as you are regular?
id do a P test just to rule that out, and go see the docs, i wouldnt worry tho, its a common thing
good luck xxx

I totally freaked out when i took the test. But I have said for a while that I want kids so I am OK about it now. I have told my boyfriend and he is very scared, but also wants a child. Just we were planning to wait until we both had steady jobs etc.
How do I go about telling my mum?? I cant see myself sitting down with her and sayin 'oh by the way, I am pregnant'..!!!?!

Think long and hard about whether you really want a baby or not. They are such hard work, and that it from someone who is in a committed relationship and who is financially secure. I had a termination when I was 17 because my then boyfriend wasn't interested and it just didn't fit into the 'grand plan' at the time. I didn't have my daughter until I was 33 and I still didn't feel ready. You have to make so many sacrifices when you have kids and part of me wishes I could have my old life back. I probably think about the other baby everyday, but I don't regret the decision I made.
thanks petal. I do want a baby definately. I work with children everyday and my mum was a childminder so i have got a better idea than some about what it is like. i have got over the shock now and am excited! just now how am i going to tell my mum tomorrow...?! my sister is away at uni so i am on my own with this one!
