my cat is poorly

my cat keeps on wretching as though she has a furball but she seems to be in a lot of pain. she has adopted a really strange position ontop of the sofa as though she has tummy ache or trapped wind or something, she is normally really friendly and is growling if you touch her. any ideas what i can do to help her? the vet is closed

Just seen this and hopefully you will have got your cat sorted out - vets do have emergency numbers and it really sounds as if she needs treatment. It could be a number of things but it's best to be safe
