Clever or annoying

Anybody have a favourite question and answer they have encountered that they thought was, Clever, You know the ones that you ask and everybody smuggly bellows the answer at you, until you inform them they are wrong. I had an example where i was asked, if every batsman in a cricket team were dismissed first ball, which batsman would remain not out. Obviously number 11 I replied.  WRONG, think about it.

I'd like to amend that answer. I forgot to take account of the fact that they change ends after 6 balls.  So the answer would be - No 8

It says they were all dismissed first ball.  Don't know much about cricket, but was anyone not out?

Would have thought no. 7 - in that he comes in for no.6 as bowling end changes to dismiss no.2, 8, 9 , 10 and 11

Answer is No 8;

First over; batsmen 1,3,4,5,6 and 7 are out, No 8 comes in to replace No7 at the end of the over; No 2 was at the non strikers end. Second over; batsmen 2,9,10 & 11 are out, No 8 remains at non-strikers end having not faced a ball.  ........unless of course some of the batsmen are out while scoring runs before say being caught or run out but having crossed with the non striker!
