Manchester Restaurant

I need to book a restaurant in manchester centre, ( M1, M2 or M3 postcodes ) for a friday night for 11 people ASAP. I would prefer an italian or english / traditional place but it has to be very nice but not too dear ( mother in law will be joining us - enough said lol ) Can anyone help - reviews on websites are very wishy washy.

Nicest Italians would be San Carlo or Piccolino.

For an English one I'd go for either The Ox or The Bridge.

Ps for that amount of people for a Friday night you would need to book for any of these places.
