On Sunday from midday to 5 pm there is the St Patrick Days parade in the centre of London. I can't remember where it starts from, but it organised by City hall. www.london.gov.uk/  It is always great fun.
The Saatchi Gallery and Tate Modern down by the river near Houses of Parliament are great. While you're down there you may want to see the Aquarium (biggest in Europe), I really really loved this, it's huge!

Covent Garden is nice too, sometimes a good market on and some nice shops.

Also, while you are down by the River if you haven't already done it you could have a go on the London Eye.

Also a trip to Harrods is well worthwhile.

On my 50th we did a walking tour.  It took all day but we had a really good time.  Started at the Albert Hall, then crossed into Kensington Gardens, round the serpentine via Peter Pan statue and came out into Bayswater Road.  Navigated up to Regents Park via Baker Street (Sherlock Holmes territory), then across the park to the far side where we walked along the Grand Union canal towpath until we came to Campden Market.  A bit more street walking upto Hampstead Heath where we climbed up Parliament Hill (great view) and then on to Kenwood House (an art gallery with donations for admission).  After that we left via the car park exit, crossed the road and walked down The Bishops Avenue (millionaires row) to East Finchley station and took a train back.  Good exercise, fresh air and cheap!

Have fun bearworld. I would say that the saatchi was the absolute best, we had a ton of fun and found it very funny.
Also, by the way, just beside Piccadilly, is the 'Comedy Store', who regularly have big name acts.
Last time we spent a weekend in London, we went to Vinopolis World of Wine which is on the River, just by Shakespeare's Globe.  It cost about 12, which included a few tasters, and we spent a great couple of hours wandering around and tasting!
