I don't know about everyone having plasma TV's either,I most certainly don't,we are still using an old widescreen TV we have had for about 5 years as we can't afford to replace it.We have got an XBOX 360 and two PC's though
:-)
Then again we are not on benefits!

Jonny5 My husband worked hard before he broke his neck.My 3 older children all work hard and pay their way. I know there are some white who have some explaining to do.
My landlord is a coloured guy and he's great. He was born here and serves his country in the TA. There are a lot like him to.
My objection is to those like this woman, and there are a lot of them, who have come here simply to mooch off this country. And thats what shes doing. Her and her older children. Lets face it the one in the picture looks like he could work.
If these people contirbuted something to this country then fair enough but they don't and thats what creates this climate of hate.
And wether we like it or not it is getting worse.
People are coming here and expect to be treated like royalty. They want their laws and religions to be first and have no interest in even learning the native language smetimes.
It's does p*ss the indiginous people of this country off and don't think we are the only indiginous people who are annoyed. The French are just as vocal about it and so are the Germans and many others.
This could potentionally all turn very nasty. But at the end of the day we have a right to speak our minds and luckyly for us we have that right thanks to people like my dad who fought a war for it.
And no goverment is going to take that away wether some guys from another country like it or not.
I am British and proud of it. They don't keep quiet when they want to complain so why should we. It's our counrty damn it.
Ok I'm off the soap box now. Any one else want a go. It's quite exilerating.

This is a slightly less inflamatory article on the situation, and it looks like the council found their scapegoats. I have yet to see any coverage of this outside the so-called 'red-top' newspapers......ie-Telegraph,Times,etc.....has anyone else? I would tend to take some of the quotes in the NofTW etc with a grain of salt.
China Doll still thinks that it's up to the council to do their homework properly and look for a place they can live that is not at an extorionate price. She also thinks that we don't actually know if the house was part furnished and that this is still a load of scare mongering that promotes the kind of knee jerk reaction I've seen here. Very lazy journalism.
My opinion still hasn't changed I'm afraid but thanks for the update although I did already catch it in News yesterday compliments of AOG.
