Today's Guardian (paper) has a note in the "Corrections and clarifications" column stating that they gave the wrong clue for 26A in the Prize Puzzle 24,517. It should have been:
City in 22 across, while revolutionary, running rings around this writer (3,5)
It goes on to say that either spelling of the answer will be accepted.
I thought the previous clue was OK and led unquestionably to the PAOLO spelling, so it is hardly a "mistake".

I see the online service already has the corrected version, and as this clue was asked in many questions here I thought I'd mention it as a PSA in case any of you lot thought they were going barmy if they look at it again.

Thanks for that beermagnet.

I thought we would have to wait until the weekend for clarification.
Rather curious given that Paul was the setter! Surely they didn't give the wrong clue - Paul has had to devise another one after the mistake was pointed out!
