Ford Fiesta - Blows Hot !!

Can anybody help...My car will only circulate hot air even on the cold setting ?? Also the fan that circulates this air will only work on the number 4 setting ...has anybody had a similar problem ? If so can anybody help

Sounds like 2 seperate faults to me. The valve that governs that hot water flow from the engine cooling circuit into the heater matrix is stuck in the open position. And the heater fan switch is faulty and only allowing voltage to the fan in the no 4 setting. If the fan motor was faulty it wouldnt work on any setting.

hi there if the fan only works on the no 4 setting  i had the same problem with mine it turned out to be the bushes in the moter i replaced them an it worked ok.
