I don't think I've ever walked out of a film either; I always hope it is going to redeem itself - sadly they don't usually (good example is "Crash"). I wanted to walk out of "Clockwork Orange" but was too frightened. The last film by John Cassavettes (damn! can't remember the title but it would've been sometime in the early 80s) I went out to have a cigarette. And I agree with a few of you others - I should've walked out of "Phantom of the Opera". Such tripe! But to cut a long story short, I generally just fall asleep.
