What are the chances of me losing weight if I don't do any more exercise than I am doing at present, don't eat any less than at present but do cut down drastically on my alcohol (mainly wine) consumption?

I cannot fit in much more exercise as I have a very busy (though not always active) lifestyle, I have tried to cut down on food, but the fact is I love my food & find it almost impossible to follow a fairly-strict diet. I do however consume probably around 20 units of alcohol per week. If I cut this down by at least half, would I lose weight?

wine has got tones of calories and if you cut it down or out then you should see a difference....
i'm dieting and currently on the wagon for 4 weeks now....like you loved my wine but with cutting it out and sorting out a health(ish) eating not to mention going to the gym i've noticed already a difference.....
but you have to be patient....before you start seeing the results for yourself!!
if your dedicated switch your wine to weightwatchers wine....okay so its not what your used to but i swear the white wine of their's in good and gets rid of that craving you get.....plus it doesn't have nearly as much calories as the regular wine
