Yes, but if you have an accident then the insurance companies may try to recover the monies they pay out to third parties from you.

Or refuse to pay proper value for your car if it is written off.
I'm not sure why you've asked this 3 times, and it makes the thread difficult to folow, but I'll try to answer. I agre with Ethel about 3rd party insurance. But if you are asking about whether th insurance company would pay up for damage to your own car- say if you skidded into a lampost- then i think the may try to avoid paying for your damage. If our car had failed an MOT then you shouldn't be driving it.
